Morgan's Journey So Far
Morgan is an internationally recognized, award-winning entrepreneur and local community leader. She is also the Founder & President of Glitter, a company that hires people with barriers to work to pick up litter on blocks that have crowdfunded for weekly cleanings. She is also the founder and past CEO of MilkCrate - a mission-driven tech company helping other mission-driven organizations achieve their impact goals with mobile apps where she still sits on the board.

She regularly travels the country sharing her story as a female tech founder, nonprofit leader, and jiu jitsu fighter.

After starting her first socially-minded enterprise at 16, and working with companies like Anthropologie and Joan Shepp, Morgan has always sought to discover new ways to tie her passions and skills to helping her community. She is eager to support other entrepreneurs, especially underrepresented ones, to find their path for doing good through business. As a designer and leader, she guides her teams to help grow impact by leveraging technology, business, and philanthropy.
She has presented at Forbes 30 Under 30, was listed by the UN Foundation as one of the "Top 10 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch" in the world, auditioned for Shark Tank, and invited by the Obama Administration to the White House for Clean Energy Plan talks. She has been a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Fellow at the Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship, an Environmental Leadership Program Senior Fellow, and won the Rad Girl Product of the Year Award.
After almost a decade in the nonprofit world, Morgan embarked on a journey that led to starting MilkCrate in 2014 and Glitter in 2019. When she enrolled in a Masters of Science in Sustainable Design from Jefferson University she unwittingly sent herself headfirst into the tech startup scene when she decided to design an app for her graduate thesis. Looking back, this was the beginning of her companies.

Morgan has been featured extensively on national news outlets like the WHYY, the Philadelphia Business Journal, Boston Metro, Philadelphia Inquirer, NBC10, Forbes, Philadelphia Magazine's Be Well Blog, and others. Morgan is very passionate about helping underrepresented groups in tech like women and minorities and shares her experience as a woman entrepreneur and lessons learned from competing in both business and martial arts.
As well as being a fearsome entrepreneur, she is a purple belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and won gold medals thanks to the support of her team and coaches. She lives in Philadelphia with her wonderfully supportive husband, their two daughters, and rescue cats.
